Hi! My name is Sunsanee, but you can call me Sunnee. Welcome to my store. Everything is designed and handmade with love and care by myself.
I have always been a creative person. Even as a child, I would make jewellery, clothing and toys, which I continued into adulthood. I grew up baking with my grandparents and I would even design and sell cakes alongside an office job I had at the time.
However, at the start of 2021 I became sick and had to be admitted into hospital. I couldn’t eat or drink and I was rapidly losing weight. During this time, the Covid Lockdown rules were still in place and I was only allowed short visits at hospital but off the ward.
This meant I only really had my phone for entertainment whilst I was in hospital. I spent a lot of time on social media and also Youtube. Crochet tutorials seemed to be everywhere and I ended up watching hours of content. I decided to order some supplies for when I was home to give it a go, and I have rarely put my hook down since. Unfortunately, it took a year to get a diagnosis and a further 9 month wait to get the surgery needed to help improve my condition, but the recovery afterward has been continually ongoing and I have had to change and adapt my diet and lifestyle.
Since these medical issues, I have unfortunately been suffering from my Hypermobility condition, which has been causing a lot of joint dislocations and additional injuries. I have already had a few surgeries and I am currently still waiting for further surgeries and treatment.
With all my health issues, I am unable to work a regular job. Since I began posting my crochet projects on social media, I was frequently getting asked to create and sell bespoke pieces. I have thoroughly enjoyed doing this and decided that I want to try and make a business out of my situation, meaning I can continue to be creative and spend my days making beautiful and unique pieces for anyone and everyone. I use everything I have learnt and all my new skills to design and create my own unique and bespoke pieces, focusing mainly on clothing, accessories and decorations.
